Annotating Pre-Labeled Data

There are two methods for utilizing pre-labeled data:

  1. Exporting partially labeled data from Annolive, training a model with this data, generating inference for the rest of the data on your system, and then importing this dataset with inference back into Annolive to refine the inference data. This way, you will have an initial draft for annotation.

  2. Importing the pre-labeled dataset into the task containing the same dataset and commencing annotation on top of the data already available in the imported dataset.

Note: The inference or pre-labeled data must adhere to the standard format for annotation in Annolive. To view a sample of this format, refer to already annotated data in exported dataset.

How to Export and Import Data for Pre-Labeling

Follow these steps to export and import data for pre-labeling:

  1. Go to the Auto-Annotate tab on the relevant task page.
  2. Access the pre-label tab within the Auto-Annotate tab.
Task Home
  1. Export the partially labeled data by clicking the export button.
  2. Generate inference on the exported data; ensure that the generated inference matches the format of the exported data.
  3. Import the data with inference in the prescribed format into Annolive.
  4. Proceed to the annotation playground to refine the annotations.
