PII Masking

PII masking with bulk annotation is a special feature offered by Annolive that allows users to mask the Personally identifiable information (PII) from a dataset associated with a task with a single click. It utilizes the PII masking model defined by the user in the Auto-Annotate tab of the task.

How to Perform PII Masking

To perform PII masking on the dataset within a task, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the desired task from the task table.
  2. Navigate to the Auto-Annotate tab within the task view.
  3. In the Auto-Annotate tab, choose the required model from the config options.
  4. You can use Annolive's PII Anonymizer or your own custom model
  5. If PII Anonymizer is selected, set the de-identification approach, required confidence threshold.
