Create a Dataset

Steps to Create & Upload a Dataset​

  1. On the datasets page, click the Add Dataset button at the top right.

  2. Provide essential details like the dataset name, its type, and a brief description.

  1. Proceed to the Upload tab by selecting the Create button.

  2. Select the dataset type and upload your files:

    • For text datasets: Ensure your dataset is in CSV UTF-8 format before uploading. If your data includes headers, toggle the "Does your file have headers?" switch.
    • For images, audio, and PDFs: Select or drag and drop the files into the upload area. This does not include medical imaging files — use the Medical Imaging type for DICOM data.
    • For medical imaging datasets: Select Medical Imaging as the dataset type, then upload .DCM or .DICOM files via drag-and-drop or file picker. Only DICOM files with these extensions are supported. After upload, DICOM metadata (e.g., patient name, patient id, study description etc) is extracted and visible when exploring the dataset.
